  • debbie : Recently found out my husband has 4 stage lung cancer. Cancer was detected late so there has been a lot of complications. Having trouble dealing with it all, feel like I cannot make future plans or goals. This is new for me. Experiencing mood swings and feeling isolated. My family lives in Hawaii and I am currently living in Central Oregon. Looking for a support group!

I am writing to let you all know that this site is very slow and does not have a lot of participation which is a great shame. As the owner and webmaster of the site i get emailed when a new member registers and i try to respond to any stories or forum entries but it appears that people seem to be shy about placing articles, questions and stories: good or bad. I will never take this site down as it is a tribute to my angel, who sadly passed away last August. Please if you come by this site and take the time to register and submit things then maybe others will follow suit and we could have an active support group which would be fantastic. I know the pain and suffering that goes along with dealing with this terrible disease and a lot of times you just dont have the time or want to write things, i understand, that just registering sometimes makes you feel that there is hope and support, even that is good but active participation on a regular basis and talking to others in the same situation really can help. So please take advantage of this site and its potential. I will always respond to your comments and articles if you write them.

After an overwhelming response to the site i have reactivated it minus the ACOR page. I have contacted ACOR and am seeking approval to put it back as it was. Will let you all know the outcome.

The chatroom has been a resounding success and i have chatted with quite a few of you. Don't be shy, jump in and join in, talking is great therapy.

After you have registered on the site you have full rights to contribute to any section of the site, simply click on the buttons at the top and go from there, you cant break it so don't be frightened to try things out.
